A day to remember!
On this day, RID 3131, took an initiative for empowering underprivileged women by raising the maximum charity in just 24hrs;
A Total donation from the club: 41600/-
~ Funds raised by RCPSH: 16600/-

Together, we can do so much! All the Rotaractors, Rotarians and everyone, who contributed and helped to lighten up someone’s life, Thank You So Much for thoughtfulness.
Rotary Club of Pune Shaniwarwada in association with Rotaract Club of Pune Shaniwarwada, Sinhgad Institutes, Smt. Kashibai Navale Hospital became a reason for someone’s existence by donating the blood! Total of 256 blood bags were collected out of which 14 were O negative. Donating blood is a pure act of kindness that does great and big wonders.

Rotaract Club of Pune Shaniwarwada with Rotaract Club of Pune Mideast and PMC people conducted the CMD event, “Gajasanskruti 6.0”. The motive of this event was cleanliness and keeping the surrounding area hygiene. In this event, the rotaractors of Rotaract Club of Pune Mideast, Rotaract Club of Pune Shaniwarwada along with Pune Municipal Corporation, came together and helped in keeping the surrounding clean after 10days of Ganapati Festival!

AAHAAR
We, at RCPSH, wholeheartedly participated in a very interesting, helpful joint event ”AAHAR” by the Rotaract Club of Bardoli. As the name implies, it was a food donation campaign. Many clubs joined us at the event like RC Alumni, RC Poona Royal, RC Urja. We collectively donated about 65 packets of nourishing food to under privileged people near Sassoon Hospital, Pune and the smiles of the receivers were just priceless.😊
Congratulations to RC Bardoli for a successful donation campaign. We’re also grateful to Rtr. Vijay who sponsored the grocery and to Rtr. Manasi for sponsoring the packaging material. Thanks to our dear Secretary @Karishma for helping with the cooking.
Paper Bag Donation Drive
To create awareness about the ‘Plastic Bag Free Life’, we, the team of RCPSH, on the occasion of World Paper Bag Day, organised Paper Bag Distribution. As a part of our event, we distributed 500 hand-made paper bags to the street shops of Pune. Like medical shops, Grocery stores, Cafe’s etc. They thanked us and gave their best wishes for our project. This event was an integral part of our year-long mission, ‘The Green Theory’. It gives us immense pleasure to kickstart our mission on such a positive note.
Warm Rotaract Greetings 🌼
Mahad being part of our own District 3131, we the family of RID 3131 came forward together to extend our help. Within a span of mere 5 days, all the Rotaract clubs displayed the power of Rotaract. The district collected more than 1.5 Lakhs of monetary donations, and in kind donations worth 1 lakh . We, Rotaract Club of Pune Shaniwarwada also contributed for the same.
We were proud to have our very own Club Secretary Rtr.Dr.Karishma Awari as the Project Chairperson for MAHAD RELIEF
There were three parts of this Mahad Relief Drive: Medical Camp🚑🏥, Donations 💸🧤and Langar🍚🍲, in which we were able to help 6+ remote villages of Mahad. 600+ beneficiaries were given medications and other medical help.
The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well ✨🙌– Mr Ralph Emerson.
Independence Day Celebration 🇮🇳❤️
We, at RCPSH, rejoiced in our Independence day with the ones, who is the reason for our independence, the heroic police officers.👮👮♀
As a token of appreciation, we donated Tables and Chairs to the Cyber Security branch of the Police Station at Shivajinagar.☺️
Gladly, our distribution ceremony was attended by Police Sub-Inspector Chitra Chaudhary.😍

Independence Day Celebration 🇮🇳❤️
Our strive towards sustainable environment continues.🌍
On the celebration of 75th Independence Day, we, at Rotaract Club of Pune Shaniwarwada, distributed 2000 paper bags to the vendors of Pune.📰🛍️
This event was conducted under “The Green Theory Mission”. We believe our small acts will lead to a better tomorrow.🤍
Khushiyo Ki Diwali
Diwali is the best time to think of Helping other people.
In this Gifting season, we at RCPSH undertook a successful Community Service event.🤍
We distributed over 100 Gift Hampers to the underprivileged to make their Diwali Khushiyo wali. It included Firecrackers, Diyas, Faral and some Chocolates.😍
From Decorating to Gifting the Hamper Basket, it was the personal effort of all our members.😊

came up with Aids Awareness Virtual Program where we shared posters to increase awareness about AIDS.

Menstrual Hygiene Awareness
Menstruation is not a problem, poor menstrual hygiene is.🩸
To spread awareness about periods, we at RCPSH collaborated with Rotaract Club of Indira College for a session
on Menstrual hygiene.🌼
The session was hosted by Dr Leena Rajwade B.A.M.S. Pune with Experience in Dietetics at San Jose State University, USA 👩🏻⚕️& Dr Vaijayanti Pendse, M.D. AYURVEDA.👩🏻⚕️
The two learned Doctors spoke to us through
-What is Menstrual hygiene management?
-How you can promote menstrual hygiene?
-What are good hygiene practices and more.
Proudly, the session was attended by our male members too.
Sanitizer Donation Drive
Hand hygiene can be our best friend to combat germs and viruses.🦠
To spread Hand Hygiene Awareness, we at RCPSH organized a Sanitizer Dispenser Unit Donation Drive on 9th January. The donation was made to the residents of Nirmal Seva Foundation Women’s Old Age Home.

Tree Plantation
On the occasion of the 73rd Republic Day of India, we at RCPSH gave a green salute to India. 🙌
On 26th January, Wednesday, we arranged a sapling plantation drive at Taljai Tekdi at the heart of Pune. 🌱 It was a heartfelt Community Service event led by our CMD @lifewithviz where we planted the roots of a healthy future.
Cancer Awareness Session
On 4th February, Friday we learnt that You CAN beat the CANCER. 🌻
On the occasion of the International Cancer Day, we at the Rotaract Club of Pune Shaniwarwada in association with the Rotaract Club of Mumbai Wadala East participated in a mega event- CancerMitr. 🤝🏼

MAHADAAN
Between 5th-6th March’2022 we had the biggest and one and only District Team Training Seminar (DTTS) at the most astonishing & youth favorite location of youth “Goa”. It was an evet hosted by Rotaract Club of Pune Shaniwarwada, Rotaract Club of Indira College, Rotaract Club of Pune City, Rotaract Club of Amanora Youngistan. The event was the first district event under the umbrella of RIY 2022-2023. In the event the entire team of the selected district council for the RIY 22-23 undergoes intensive training by renowned speakers and senior Rotaract Mentors, only after which the council members are considered officially trained and take up their duties for their respective posts. These two days include professional development session by well-groomed speakers, team building activities, etc. With a lot of Professional activities there were multiple fun activities like Tressure hunt, some beach activities, etc., eventually each club members bonded well and made this event a great success.
